Local North County Drummer in National Finals for Guitar Center Drum Off.

San Diego Drum Lessons wishes to congratulate local drummer Troy Molsberry of Carlsbad CA, who recently beat over 4000 drummers to reach the Finals of the Guitar Center Drum Off competition. You can see the full article in the North County Times, by clicking on this link.
It's great to see local drummers progressing, and we wish Troy all the best. Back in 2004/05, I was the General Manager of the Drum Department at the Guitar Center in Hollywood, and we hosted several of the stage competitions of the Drum Off event, so I know that the competition will have been intense for Troy. I also helped organize the 2004/05 Final at the Wiltern Theater in LA, so have first hand experience of what a big event this is. The year I was involved in the organization, Josh Freese was the featured drummer, including a set by The Vandals. I am sure Tommy Lee will bring some additional spice to the event!
